Kaaren Hamilton
Choice Hotels International has named former Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Sonesta International Hotels executive Kaaren Hamilton as its new VP of global sales, effective immediately, the company announced Thursday.
Hamilton, who will report to chief segment and international operations officer Raul Ramirez, will lead Choice's sales strategy, "providing leadership across our channel partners, corporate and group sales teams, while simultaneously identifying new business opportunities and deepening customer relationships," the company said in a statement.
Hamilton joins Choice from Hyatt, where since 2023 she had served as associate vice president for commercial services. She also has served as Sonesta's VP of global sales and spent 11 years with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, now known as Radisson Hotel Group.
Hamilton's "strategic leadership, collaborative spirit, and passion for people will be instrumental as we continue to scale our global sales organization and drive value across our diverse portfolio for our franchisees and guests," Ramirez said in a statement.
