Hospitality company Benchmark's two luxury brands, Benchmark Resorts & Hotels and Gemstone Collection, are cutting accommodation rates for essential workers amid the Covid-19 pandemic, effective immediately and extending throughout 2020. Benchmark hotels will offer their lowest employee rates to doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics and other frontline workers as well as firefighters, police and members of the National Guard. Included are currently open Benchmark hotels and resorts in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Wisconsin.
