Former American Express executive Shane Berry joined Mint
House in July as chief customer officer and a board advisor. He will introduce
travelers and corporate travel departments to the apartment-style startup,
which is geared toward business travelers. The company, which operates
accommodations in urban downtowns, announced in May that it had raised
$15 million. Berry was most recently American Express SVP and general
manager of the Global Client Group, where he worked with travel clients and the
company's global corporate payments.
