As its name implies, this spectacularly-situated hotel is perched at an elevation of 2,222 meters, surrounded by dozens of ski runs and hiking trails. It's located in an area called Riffelalp, high above Zermatt, with a few restaurants nearby. Views of Matterhorn and 28 surrounding peaks are jaw-dropping.
