Location and History
Set on a four-acre former farm once owned by the Bardessono family, in the heart of this once-sleepy rural California village, like all of Yountville's somewhat exuberantly priced hostels, this design diva owes a fair portion of its success to Thomas Keller's French Laundry.
That's not to say this isn't a great hotel—it is—but if this town weren't the dining destination known the world over, Yountville's elegant but expensive lodges would have a hard time...
