On 5 hectares near the Allegro, a mile south of Playa del Carmen in the Playacar development, this adults-only property is not as glitzy or modern as some of the newer resorts on the Riviera Maya, but it makes a valiant effort to provide something akin to luxury, albeit in updated colonial-inspired garb.
