Along the Promenade des Anglais, toward the eastern side of hotel row next door to the Massena Museum and Le Negresco, this middle-market offering occupies a six-story Victorian building that dates to 1840, the first hotel built on the waterfront.
A nostalgic air still hangs over this middle-market hotel. The location is as perfect as Nice affords, and management knows it cannot let go of this prized real estate even with the growing luxury competition.
