An exclamation mark on Chelsea's legendary redbrick skyline, this repurposed 1885 Gothic treasure—it was once part of the General Theological Seminary hosting Episcopalian priests—has been transformed into one of Chelsea's most engaging hotels.
Set back well off 10th Avenue, the hotel is fronted by a large parklike garden; the other half is currently a cheeky pop-up cafe, with Intelligentsia espresso served from a 1963 Citroen van.
