Situated between Park and Madison avenues, near St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center, this brick tower was the bohemian address where Tallulah Bankhead drank, Marlon Brando lived, and Tennessee Williams died.
Times have changed, but it maintains the air of a Parisian pied-a-terre peppered with more than a little essence of the 8th arrondissement. As it should: It lures well-heeled travelers who appreciate life on a human scale.
