At 21st Street, on the edge of SoBe, this hotel occupies a sparkling white and reflective glass complex that faces the beach like a giant's tuning fork.
Composed of old and new, the oceanfront residential tower rises 40 stories, with a vintage seven-story hotel building behind it. The historic 1938 Vanderbilt Hotel holds the least expensive units, most facing a courtyard, not the beach.
