Facing Chapultepec Park, this hotel may not be as plush or high profile as the St. Regis or Four Seasons, but it operates at a higher level than it did while on Nikko's watch. A formidable competitor alongside the InterContinental Presidente, this is a solid option.
Built in 1987, this massive, dated gray stone hotel looks like a 38-story Soviet rocket ready for takeoff. It is bookend by the 42-story Presidente next door.
