Location and History
This hotel, on a tiny side street in the center of the busy medina, has roots that go back to the 1940s, when it was opened and run by two French women as a posh restaurant and social center for Marrakech's expatriate community. In 1998 the place was transformed into a boutique-hotel, starting with just 10 guest rooms and a ratio of five staff members for each guest room.
