Location and History
Occidental Roca Negra is located on a low hilltop overlooking the ocean, just outside the tiny coastal town of Puerto de Nieves on the northwest coast of Gran Canaria. This is the main ferry port between Gran Canaria and the other islands. Gran Canaria's main city, Las Palmas, is just 30-40 minutes away by car, while the airport is a little more than an hour's drive.
