The property extends across 31 floors and its tropical gardens and extensive pool and surrounding open-space presents a resort-like setting rather than a downtown business hotel.
Some rooms overlook Stasiun BNI City (MRT) with direct rail connections to the airport, not that many Shangri-La guests would use this service to the airport although many consider it to get around parts of the city. The airport is a 45-minute drive from the hotel.
