This hotel, known as the Silica Hotel at the Blue Lagoon, is about a half mile from the Blue Lagoon (10 minutes on foot or via an on-demand shuttle), Iceland's best-known attraction. It's situated in a very quiet spot surrounded by a lava field, off the beaten path and most easily found in the daytime.
It is close to the Keflavik Airport, and about a half-hour drive from Reykjavik.
