Centrally situated on posh and elegant George Street, a half-block west of St. Andrew Square, 400 meters north of the Edinburgh rail station, this stately, 200-year-old building (formed from six former townhouses) has all the gravitas of a financial institution, with its columns, pediments, balustrades and many flags flapping in the breeze. The hotel is ultra-convenient and is within walking distance to the tram line for a quick ride to the airport.
