This beachfront property joins Anantara, One&Only and several other properties on the man-made Palm Island, although its position on the Palm's "trunk" is not as sensational as Atlantis, which crowns the island, or Anantara, which faces the Burj Al Arab. New entrants like Raffles and the W on the other side have upped the wow factor here considerably.
Still, the Fairmont benefits from a solid mix of European and regional guests that go for its meeting spa...
