One half-block southeast of the entrance to Union Station and six blocks north of Larimer Square, in the heart of Denver's hip LoDo district, this unpretentious, five-story 1892 Romanesque red-brick structure was Denver's first purpose-built hotel. It offers as much history as the Brown Palace but in a compact, more personalized setting.
