Spread across six acres on the western edge of Delhi's diplomatic enclave, Chanakyapuri, this has long been one of the capital's top addresses. It's one of a number of Delhi hotels that opened in the early 1980s when the city hosted the Asian Games and the second Taj Group property to open in the city (the first was the Taj Mahal, Delhi).
