Housed in a former textile factory, this flashy upstart is less than a five-minute walk to the florid Villa Olmo, a pleasant 20-minute stroll from the center of Como proper via the lakefront promenade (don't miss the Duomo). Most hearty travelers arriving at the San Giovanni station will find the hotel luggage-dragging distance. Once settled, it takes about five minutes from the hotel to walk down to the lake itself.
