On the north side of the Rio Mondego, off the Coimbra-Sul exit of the Lisbon-Porto motorway, this establishment (part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World) has been under the same ownership since 1730. Porto is a tad closer, and with more international flights than ever it is the easier airport. Lisbon is two hours to the south.
