Location and History
On the northern end of 174-acre Qalito Island, 13 nautical miles west of Nadi, this private island resort is a 17-acre hotel-village made up of Fijian bures (cottages) on a palm-studded island fringed by one of the better beaches in the Mamanucas.
The first resort to be built in this area, in 1966, and one of the oldest in the islands, Castaway continues to be a favorite of Australians and New Zealanders, many of them repeat guests.
