Ensconced in its own tropical surroundings, this resort does not stretch into the luxury space. Instead, it competes for budgeteers who may otherwise opt for a rental unit. Mercure is part of Accor's many brands, and while it skews toward the budget model in cities, this resort is a pleasant surprise.
