Once a Four Seasons Resort, Four Seasons still operates the time share portion of Aviara, though the resort is now in the capable hands of Park Hyatt. Located on a plateau overlooking the ocean and the Batiquitos Lagoon and wildlife preserve, this is certainly no beach resort—it is too far from the coast for easy access to the sands.
