Within a cluster of family-run hotels and economical lodges, adjacent to a pair of the isle's stars—La Scalinatella and Casa Morgano—this is a steady player with some of the lowest rates for relatively high standards.
Family-run for generations, the location is tops, just five-minutes' walk from the Piazetta and funicular to Grande Marina. It even manages to steal a lovely view of the Mediterranean from the pool and prized restaurant.
