Location and History
Not far from Palma (10 minutes by car), this resort is part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts group. It offers an excellent product along Cala Mayor at rates that fairly peg it in the middle of the pack.
While it no longer attracts the rich and the famous, it has hosted the likes of Grace Kelly and Rita Hayworth and takes its name from the private yacht of Austria's Archduke Luis Salvador, who arrived on the island in the same vessel.
