This centrally located historic property on the banks of the Nile River is tucked away between the famous Egyptian Museum with its collection of archaeological treasures, the headquarters of the Arab League and Egypt's Foreign Ministry. It has arguably the best Nile-side location in Cairo.
Originally opened in 1959, it was a showcase hotel and the first modern hotel managed by an international chain in Egypt.
