Location and History
This charming boutique hotel is housed within the original historic Finnegaarden Trading House of UNESCO-recognized Bryggen, which is Bergen's old wharf district. Finnegaarden was established in the 1400s, but the original buildings burned down several times and were rebuilt over the centuries. Also within the distinctively colored Finnegaarden buildings is the adjacent Hanseatic Museum.
