The average daily rate and occupancy at Accor hotels increased year over year during the first quarter of 2015,
the company announced during a Thursday earnings call. ADR increased 1.6 percent, with the economy and luxury and upscale tiers experiencing the largest overall increases (1.7 percent and 1.8 percent, respectively). Occupancy reached 62.2 percent, up 1.9 percentage points year over year. The luxury and upscale tier saw the largest occupancy increase, 3.7 percent. CFO Sophie Stabile said corporate travel made up approximately 60 percent of total business during the quarter.
