Reserved occupancy at North American hotels for the second quarter of 2015 is up 1.3 percent from the same period last year,
according to the June TravelClick North American Hospitality Review. Reserved group business occupancy is up 0.9 percent, and the average daily rate for those bookings is up 4.2 percent. Transient business reserved occupancy is up 0.4 percent, and ADR for those bookings is up 5.5 percent. Overall committed occupancy for the next 12 months is up 2.5 percent compared with the same time last year. The June NAHR examines group sales commitments and individual reservations in 25 major North American markets for hotel stays booked by May 28, 2015, for the period between June 2015 and May 2016.
