Most business travelers are not being asked to reduce their travel this fall from last year's levels, according to a survey of more than 2,000 travelers
conducted last week by Harris Interactive on behalf of Best
Western International. More than half of the travelers surveyed expect to
travel the same amount as last fall, while 17 percent expect to travel more
this year. Best Western senior vice president of marketing and sales Dorothy
Dowling also noted that fall advance bookings at Best Western hotels are up 8
percent year over year.
