JFK To Get First On-Airport Hotel

New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport is on track to get its first on-airport hotel. On Thursday, The Port Authority Board of Commissioners approved JetBlue Airways and hotel developer MCR Development's $265 million conversion of the TWA Flight Center into a 505-room hotel, according to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Construction is slated to begin next year, and the hotel is expected to open in 2018.
