IHG Launches Traveler Safety & Meetings Service Initiatives
InterContinental Hotels Group launched IHG Assist and IHG Meeting Point, two initiatives aimed at corporate clients and business travelers. IHG Assist addresses traveler safety and security with such services as a 24/7 phone line for corporate client concerns, security consultations between corporate security teams and IHG¹s global security team, and guest-location services to assist corporate partners in locating employees during emergencies. IHG Meeting Point trains IHG hotel staff on regulations and requirements specific to pharmaceutical, automotive, energy and other business sectors to enhance meeting services. Both initiatives are live at more than 4,900 IHG hotels.
