Corporate housing supplier Furnished Quarters next year in New York will open the first property of a new residential extended-stay hotel brand,

the company announced on Tuesday. Called Q&A, the hotel will open in spring 2015 in Manhattan's financial district and will feature 132 full-size suites ranging from 450 to 1,400 square feet, most including separate office space. The brand is designed to provide an option for apartment-style stays in New York without requiring a 30-day minimum stay, according to the company. Furnished Quarters' executive vice president Steve Saide in a statement provided to BTN said the company is "constantly having discussions with developers" about additional Q&A property development, though there is "nothing definitive to report at this time."
