Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group on Monday announced plans to grow its existing number of hotels in China from 14 to more than 50

during the next four years. The company said the move is part of an aggressive plan to expand its pipeline in such emerging markets as Dalian, Nanjing, Sanya, Shenzhen, Xiamen, and Xi’an, with hotel openings in Shenyang Hunnan and Libo slated for 2016. Carlson Rezidor is looking to expand brand presence in China particularly for the Radisson Red, Quorvus Collection, and Park Inn by Radisson brands. Twenty-eight hotels are already in development.
