Average daily rates at Wyndham Hotel Group hotels in the third quarter of 2011 increased by 3.2 percent year over year,
and occupancy
increased by 1.7 percentage points to 57 percent. Rates most sharply increased
at Wyndham's Tryp brand (up 22.2 percent) and rose 2.3 percent at its Wingate
brand. Rates at Wyndham's flagship brand, however, were down slightly year over
year. Wyndham Hotel Group parent company Wyndham Worldwide's net income for the
quarter was $175 million, up from $156 million in the third quarter of 2010.
