Etihad Airways and Taiwan-based Starlux Airlines now allow reciprocal benefits for members of each carrier's loyalty program, the airlines announced Thursday.
Under the expanded agreement, Starlux Cosmile loyalty members and Etihad Guest members now can earn and redeem miles for award tickets on partner-operated flights, according to the carriers. That applies to first, business and economy cabins. In addition, members can "request retroactive mileage credit for eligible flights."
The carriers' loyalty partnership, introduced in August, initially allowed only Etihad Guest members to redeem miles on business and economy flights across the Starlux network.
