Members of the WestJet Rewards and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club loyalty programs now can earn points on each other's full network, WestJet announced Tuesday.
In addition, WestJet Rewards members now can redeem points as a form of payment via the carrier's website on WestJet codeshare flights operated by Virgin Atlantic, including WestJet marketed flights via London Heathrow to Dubai, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Malé in the Maldives.
WestJet revamped its loyalty program last year. The integration of WestJet Rewards with Virgin Atlantic's Flying Club is the carrier's first loyalty partnership since the update and its first new reciprocal flyer partnership in nearly 10 years, according to WestJet.
