Talma Travel Solutions has acquired Sydney-based Bay Travel
Group for US$10 million, in a deal set to bolster its presence in the Asia
Pacific region.
The acquisition is the latest in a series of deals for
Israel-based Talma as it pursues an aggressive international growth strategy.
In May, Talma acquired a controlling interest in U.S.-based
Solutions Travel. The deal was executed through Talma’s North American
subsidiary, Brickell Travel, in which it took a majority stake in May 2023. This
followed Talma's acquisition of the UK-based Norad Travel Group in
March 2022 and Blue Cube Travel in October 2024.
The company said it will retain Bay Travel Group’s
leadership, which it described as “a key component of the partnership.”
Alan Wolf, managing director of Bay Travel Group, said:
“This alignment with Talma will bring us amazing growth… We are very pleased to
report that what our partners, staff and clients appreciate from us–our
values, vision and commitment to excellence–will remain the same.”
Talma Travel Solutions CEO Iya Magen said the group’s
latest acquisition “allows us to strengthen our presence in new geographic
regions and deliver exceptional service to additional international clients.”
The company also announced plans for further expansion in
the Asia Pacific region in 2026 through additional acquisitions and “strategic
partnerships”.
Talma EMEA was ranked as the UK’s 32nd largest TMC
in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2025, while Blue Cube came 29th in the UK rankings.
