Singapore Airlines on Friday restarted service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Singapore, which, at about 9,500 miles, now stands as the world's longest commercial flight. The carrier will operate the flight three times per week. Singapore Airlines had previously operated the route but ended it in 2013.
