Qantas on Oct. 31 will launch seasonal service between Adelaide and Auckland, New Zealand, through May 3, 2026, the carrier announced Thursday. The route will operate four times weekly with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
In addition, Qantas opened its first domestic business lounge in Adelaide. The space, at more than 1,000 square meters, has capacity for 190 customers. About 80 percent of the seats have access to power stations, including USB-A/C and wireless charging mats, a move Qantas said was based on customer feedback. Beginning in mid-2025, the lounge's Market Kitchen will feature a live cooking station.
