Qantas and Hawaiian Airlines have entered into a bilateral codeshare agreement as Hawaiian "nears Oneworld membership" in 2026, Qantas announced Monday. In addition, beginning June 5, Qantas frequent flyers also can earn and burn their points on Hawaiian flights.
Qantas loyalty members will be able to use their points on flights across Hawaiian Airlines' global network, including the four major Hawaiian islands, 15 cities in the United States and 10 international destinations, according to the Australia-based carrier. The airline's frequent-flyer members also will earn Qantas Points and Status Credits on Hawaiian-operated flights with a Qantas flight number for travel within Hawaii and to the U.S. mainland.
"The partnership with Hawaiian Airlines also builds on the recent launch of our direct Melbourne to Honolulu Qantas service in May and gives our members more routes, more choice and more access to travel rewards using their points," Qantas Loyalty CEO Andrew Glance said in a statement.
Alaska Airlines completed its acquisition of Hawaiian in September 2024.
