Panamanian flag carrier Copa Airlines on July 6 will launch direct service between Panama City, Panama, and Austin, Texas, the carrier announced Monday. Service between Tocumen International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will operate four times weekly in each direction on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Copa, which last month announced it would begin Baltimore service, upon launch will serve 15 U.S. destinations, with Austin its first in Texas.
