Lufthansa will decommission its entire Airbus A340-600 fleet over the next two to three months. The carrier already has parked three of the 17 aircraft in its fleet in Teruel, Spain, and eventually will move the entire fleet there, where they will be out of operation for at least a year to 18 months. Lufthansa might reactivate a maximum of 10 of the aircraft at a later point in time.
