ITA Airways on May 1, 2026, will introduce direct service between Rome and Houston, the carrier announced. Flights will operate three times weekly in May, then five times weekly from June 1 through Oct. 24, with Airbus A330-900 aircraft. Houston will be the carrier's ninth North American destination, joining New York-JFK, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and during the summer season Chicago and Toronto, according to ITA.
