Finnair is set to launch flights from Helsinki to Melbourne via Bangkok this October, expanding its long-haul network.
The new daily service, operated with Airbus A350 aircraft equipped economy, premium and business cabins, will commence Oct. 25, pending government approval, and marks Finnair's debut in Australia.
Flights will be scheduled to depart Helsinki shortly after midnight, arriving in Bangkok for "a brief stop" before arriving in Melbourne the following morning.
On the return, flights will leave from Melbourne in the afternoon, with a stop in Bangkok in the evening before landing in Helsinki early the next day.
