Ivan Druzeta
Emirates has named Qatar Airways exec Ivan Druzeta as senior sales director for the U.S., effective July 27, the airline announced Tuesday. He will report to VP of the U.S. Matthew Jones.
In this newly created role, Druzeta will lead Emirates' commercial activities across the U.S., "one of the airline's largest international markets," to strengthen the airline's market position and support future growth, according to the carrier.
Druzeta had been with Qatar Airways for more than 10 years, most recently as manager of travel management company and specialty sales for North America, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also spent three years leading sales for Croatia Airlines.
