Delta Air Lines in October 2026 will begin nonstop service between Atlanta and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the carrier announced Monday, citing the "growing flow of commerce and investment" between the two countries and "supporting long-term economic collaboration across the region."
Flights will operate three times weekly on Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with four cabins: Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort and Main.
Delta's announcement comes about a year after the carrier introduced a codeshare with Saudia Airlines, the flag carrier for Saudi Arabia. Each airline is a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Delta also previously announced it would be the "exclusive partner in North America" for Saudi Arabia-based Riyadh Air, which plans to begin operations in late 2025 or early 2026. The new carrier launched a test flight to London Heathrow on Oct. 26, according to Riyadh Air.
