American Airlines and Royal Air Maroc will begin codesharing on Dec. 26. Initially, American will add its code on select Royal Air Maroc service between North America and Casablanca and connecting service to Marrakech. Early next year, the agreement will expand on connecting service to other African destinations including Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire; Accra, Ghana; Lagos, Nigeria; Luanda, Angola; and Monrovia, Liberia. The codesharing comes in advance of Royal Air Maroc's entry to the Oneworld alliance and American's seasonal service to Morocco.
