Air India on Feb. 1, 2026, will resume nonstop flights between Delhi and Shanghai, nearly six years since it last operated the route, the airline announced Monday.
The carrier also plans to introduce nonstop flights between Mumbai and Shanghai in 2026, pending regulatory approval.
The Delhi-Shanghai flights will operate four times weekly with twin-aisle Boeing 787-8 aircraft, configured with 18 flat beds in business class and 238 seats in economy.
